Items in "Tools" disappear from time to time

Hello!

I have been using textpad for several (e.g. 25) years. Right now I am using textpad 8.5.0.
I use it also to run external programs via Tools, I added around 10 items to tools menu.
However from time to time these added items simply disappear (maybe after updating windows?).
I could not find where this items are stored, so I have to add items to tools menu again manually.
That is quite time consuming to repeat it again and again.

1. Is there any way to prevent tool items from disappearing from time to time?
2. Or is there some file where these tool items are stored, so that I can simply make a copy of this file and use it to overwrite the broken file if tool items disappear again.
3. Or is contents of tools items stored in windows registers...

The tool details are stored in

(under <Tools>).

Thanks providing very useful information. That saves my problem.
And sorry for not finding forum post that has been published just this Friday. It seems that there are several people that have the same problem as me, and decided to report this right now
