Visible Spaces (hard returns, tabs, etc.) not showing
Visible Spaces (hard returns, tabs, etc.) not showing in version 9.0.1 despite being selected under Configure, Preferences, View (spaces, tabs, paragraphs), and trying to toggle the "view visible spaces" button on the toolbar.

I had a contrasting colour set for visible spaces in the Default document class, but not in the specific document class which in this case was Text.
When I set a contrasting colour for visible spaces in the Text document class the visible spaces did show as expected.
This raises a question, though, in my mind.
Why should I need to set a contrasting colour for visible spaces for each document class?
If contrasting colour for visible spaces is set for the Default document class, shouldn't it apply to other classes such as Text?
