I use multiple workspaces and the feature was great in TextPad 8.
But now several problems have cropped up in TextPad 9 and TextPad 9.0.1
Workspace menu shortcut loads the wrong workspace.
Set-up/use several multifile workspaces.
Start a new TextPad instance.
Try to open the most recent workspace: Press: Alt-f, W, 1
The workspace will not open, instead a random file or workspace will open!
But, trying to open other workspaces this way will usually open the intended file set. (EG: Alt-f, W, 2)
Not sure if you need more than 10 saved workspaces for this bug to happen.
File tab order not preserved.
Save a workspace with tabs ordered File-A, File-B, etc.
Close and restart TextPad.
Open the previous workspace. The tab order will be scrambled.
Last focused file/tab not preserved.
Open a previously saved workspace containing multiple files. Say you were last working in "mainfile". When the workspace reopens some other file will be focused/selected. TextPad may be selecting the file that is *least* used/modified, I'm not sure but it is incorrect always.
Please correct these bugs. They were not present in TextPad 8.
Mr. Code Monkey: thank you so much for doing this post, I was about to do the same one.
I see all the bugs that you report.
They are so bad that TextPad 9.0.1 is unusable.
I not only had to de-install 9.0.1 and revert to the latest 8.15.1, I also had to restore my workspace files from my last backup because 9.0.1 corrupted them.
This is a shame, because I kinda like 9.0.1's dark theme.
