Split option "Full path names in document selector and tabs"

Post by IanOfYork »

Split the configuration option into two to allow for
* full path names in the document selector, where there is room BUT
* just the filename in the tab, where space is at a premium.

It's not quite what you want, but you can toggle the display of full paths in both the document selector and tabs with the command
View | ViewFullPaths.
I have that assigned to <Ctrl+Shift+F11>.
(I prefer multiple overlapping document windows, so I don't use tabs, and so it's not an issue for me.)

Edit: fixed typo.

You can also right click on a file tab OR the document selector background to flip the option. Sadly either of these will flip the option for both.

Hence I ask for there to be two independent options.

Having said that, I will try without tabs for a while to see if I can live with that.

The "normalise" / "cascade" command deals the files into a fan of window frames that are about 80% of the the Textpad window.

Is there a single key combination (or a command that can be assigned to a key combination) that maximises the current file window.

i.e. matches the sequence ALT-minus, X
