TextPad 8.12.0 error when using Tab Table HTML Table macro

TextPad 8.12.0, when I use the Tab Table to HTML Table macro, TextPad crashes, and I get "File C:/dev/TextPad/Source/lexscan.cpp, Line 849". I was not getting this on the prior version of TP.

I never received a reply to this issue, so I am wondering: will this exist in the 9.0 version of TextPad?

Isn't this something you've created yourself or imported? I'd be surprised if it came with a vanilla installation. It's hard to reconstruct without having the macro - why not at least giving us its content? Otherwise let me give you a few options:

• Try the newest version of the 8.x branch: 8.16.0 from 2023.
• Try to re-record the macro - it should only consist of a "Replace" action using a regular expression and putting the overall HTML table element tags on top and bottom.

Thank you for the reply! This is not a macro I created. It is an add-on, not created by the TextPad folks, but offered by them. Thankfully, so far, it is working with the 9.x version of TextPad, whereas previously, one of the 8.x updates would not let it work.
