The release notes do not say if the issue with the clip books not saving Unicode characters was corrected. Was it?
ANSWER: After downloading and installing 8.03 I find this problem has not been dealt with.
I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated this makes me. So much I could be doing with this feature!
I feel I have been mislead in upgrading to v 8 when told TP had become unicode compliant and was further told by admin that it would be fixed in the next update.
At the least customer consideration would call for an explanation of why this was not corrected.
Long Time loyal paid up dues paying customer responsible for many a good word promoting this tool.
One more thing: Does the change in recognition of Utf characters mean that we do not need to use the BOM?
One more thing: The Save and Save All buttons on the new toolbar do not change color when clicked: always as though all were saved.
Is there some way in 8.3 to change back to the old toolbar?
I tried uninstalling and installing an earlier version and then installing 8.3 over that but in this second install I am not given the option to use the old toolbar. Any solutions? Unfixed this is asking for mistakes.
One more thing: Same as the previous, but for the undu and redu buttons.

Try by changing the Appearance under View. In default appearance, I also have a problem of a different nature but possibly related. In the light or dark appearance your issue is working properly.
