Match Whole Words Bug?

Post by Mike Olds »

Hello,

I notice that when 'match whole words' is selected, WE does not recognize unicode characters as part of a word, but apparently breakes the word into two when such a character is encountered.

Something to work on when fixing the clip-book unicode bug.
Thank you, and
Best Wishes,

What do you mean by "Unicode characters"? They are all Unicode characters.

Which characters does WildEdit not recognise as word characters that you think it should?

Hello Ben,

'All unicode characters'; I didn't think of that! It must be something else. I will post back again next time this happens. Something is happening.

What it looked like was breaking words with diacriticals at the diacritical; but even so it could not be ALL diacriticals or I would never get anything done.

PS: I have not forgotten about this! It was a rarely occuring thing and it just has not come up again. ... However I suspect I have mistaken the problem; for sure it is not as described above.
Thank you, and
