Cannot change text color to black

Post by ineuw »

Just fresh installed TP 8.1.2 64bit on a fresh install of Win10 1809.

Defined the colour options of all document classes to the same, since I only work with text files.

In all classes the forecolour is set to be black on a light grey background.

But the classes show up as white colour foreground on a light blue background.

I am using the ConfigState.xml, custom.bnd and the GUIState.xml from a previous installation. Which of these files hold the colour info? and what is my best option to repair this problem without loosing my custom settings?

The colour info is stored in ConfigState.xml. Did you try going into the Preferences dialog and re-selecting the colours you want?

Of course I did. It's the only way to change the colours. After wasting some time, I deleted the old files and redefined everything anew. So far, so good.
