General questions about using TextPad

I use the Textpad "Find in Files" feature to search for strings in excel files. In the most recent version i noticed that i am unable to find strings in .XLSB and .XLSX files. I believe this worked in previous version of Textpad. Is this something that can be made available in future versions?

This is contradicting: you're most likely unable to ever find strings in an XLSX, as it is compressed data. Have you even tried reading those files yourself before making this assumption? I mean: can you "read" the strings but yet the "search in files" does not match anything?
