Hey guys - does Textpad support emojis? I'm opening a file that contains them and getting the "WARNING contains characters that do not exist in code page 1252..."

Keep in mind that it's still up to the font being used to support single characters. Based on i.e. Windows 7's default installation neither Tahoma nor Arial are able to display these.
Textpad will never be better than the fonts installed on your system. If you install i.e. OpenSansEmoji.ttf then you get it as expected:
