Macro to show two docs alongside?

Before I invest too heavily in trying to do this myself (and I'm not optimistic that I can), does anyone already have a macro something like the following that they can share please?

I want to be able to choose two document tabs and get them displayed alongside each other automatically. Doing it manually gets tedious if I have many pairs to display.
