Regular Expression \u Bug??

Hi guys.

Please see the video in this link. Is it a bug?

If it is not, how would I replace the UPPER CASE letter by using the regular expression?

It is not a bug.

You need to select Match case. Otherwise you are asking TextPad to look for an upper-case letter while ignoring case.

searched the help and found the answer to my question:
why does \U not work in my Textpad 7.6.4
