Block Select Mode

Post by leegold »

Using textpad 7.5.1 - using it in Linux with Wine. I don't expect everything to work...

Wanted block select mode. Alt does not seem to work. Tried configure>block select mode in menu but it's greyed out.

ctrl-q changes the cursor to a little pen it seems but b ...I just don't know, maybe I'm not doing it right or maybe it's not working.

Help appreciated.

Using a proportional font doesn't prevent block mode from working; it's just not useful. Having word wrap on, however, will make block mode unavailable.
