Suppose the Minimize to Taskbar Status Area Checkbox is checked (in Preferences, General, Minimize to Taskbar Status Area Checkbox).
Suppose I'm running a Textpad instance.
Suppose I minimize that instance of Textpad to the Taskbar Status area.
When I try to restore it by single left-clicking on that instance icon, a menu
pops up with two choices:
1. Restore
2. Exit
The Exit option gets in the way as 99% of the time I'm Restoring.
The Exit manu option was probably a feature request. As such,
can the Textpad developer(s) create an sub-option in preferences
for the Taskbar Status Area menu behavior?
i.e.
Preferences
General
Minimize to Taskbar Status Area Checkbox
Allow Restore Only from the Taskbar Status Area

I'd like to know if anything like this is being considered. I've abandoned this feature, because I _only_ want to restore a program if I left click on it in the status area.
Looking over the programs in my task bar, almost all have a right click menu which includes an exit option. Almost all restore on a left click. None of mine offer a menu on right click.
I find the present option of Restore/Exit a wasted keystroke. Please make the default to restore with single click on icon. Exit can be done by Restore/Click X on upper windows row.
