Can't change Current Line foreground color

Post by WK »

I can't seem to change the "Current line" foreground color in preferences. I can manually select any color on the chart, but it never actually changes the color. The background color changes correctly.

I'm using TextPad 7.0.9 on Windows 7 x64 with SP1.

I'd even be OK with changing the ConfigState.xml file, if you could just tell me which pair of characters represents this particular parameter in the long string of Color values?

Just had a play with the preferences and observed the following:
You cannot change the foreground colour despite there being and option to do so(well you can but...).
you can change the background colour.

The "Text" foreground seems to override the foreground colour selection for "Current Line".

In order to test this you need to change the setting in "preferences" -> "view" to "Highlight current line".

Exactly my observation, though "preferences" -> "view" -> "highlight current line" seems to be enabled by default on my clean install.

Does anyone know of a workaround, or if this needs to be listed as a bug to be fixed?
