Keyboard French characters - TextPad V7.0

Hello,
I updated to V7.0.
if I open one older clipper .prg file with the following properties:
font courier new normal 10.
Script OEM/DOS
I see my old French characters like éàè etc.
If I try to type new one, I get strange characters.
I tried to change the font to Arial, but same problem.
If I make a new document, then every thing work well.
What are the possible cause?

Hello Otto,

I've been looking into this and have found the same discrepancy between existing files and new documents is in TextPad 5 as well, but in the opposite sense. I guess that not many users still have files with DOS/OEM characters! We'll fix it in the next release.
