Search and Replace freezing?

Hello again,

I have an issue which I am not able to reliably reproduce. Now and again the Search and Replace tool appears to freeze. Not a real freeze, it just gives me 'cannot find literal text' or 'cannot find regular expression'. This is in cases where the search term may be right in front of it. Sometimes when I re-copy and paste the term it comes up with the same message.

Additional twists are that when I close the dialog and open it again the problem persists, and that sometimes when I move the page down or up or up and down to just before an occurrence of the searched for term it fires up and finds the term thereafter.

A possible precursor is that this may be happening when I change the term in the dialog box, rather than when it is first opened for a new search. This is often how I work, I just leave it open during a session.

This issue should be resolved in release 7.0.4 which is now available from our download page.
