Error trying to print

Post by CWBillow »

If I set up a Textpad document and then try to print it, the first time it works [most of the time], but then every time after that I try to print I get an "Unexpected Error."

I have uninstalled and re-installed both the printer and Textpad.

Also, if I copy all the text and paste it into another text editor {Notepad, Notepad++, Wordpad, or even Word] it prints fine.

What could be causing this? I am using v6.2.2 of Textpad.

Chuck, please send us a copy of the DMP file that is created when TextPad crashes.

Thanks,

I just got the error again...and then I searched my hard drive for a DMP file, but there was none.

And, in addition, if I select all the text, and then copy/paste it into a new Textpad doc, I get the same error when printing -- but, if I turn right around and paste it into Notepad++, it prints fine.

TextPad should always produce a dump file in your TEMP folder, if it crashes, unless you are running some other software which is intercepting that action.

Have you tried it with the latest release of TextPad?
