I have been a long-time customer of Textpad and its speed for large files is just fantastic. One area where I would like to see improvement would be with syntax highlighting.
I recently tried Notepad++ and it has built in syntax. Most files you open have syntax highlighting turned on automatically where as with Textpad I have to go online to find a syntax file, download and extract it, register a file extension and re-open the file.
Including all of the syntax files for Textpad won't increase the download or disk foot-print by much.
So how about the next version of Textpad have auto-syntax highlighting with the ability to change/add syntax highlighting when needed?
