More than 16 files possible on recent files drop-down meny

For us and any who work with many recurring files
it would be nice if it were possible to have more than 16
files on the recent files menu. If U tries to put more in
file preferences it says "enter integer between 0 and 16"
Many thanx in advance for this otherwise truly great
software.

Yes Please ! I have wanted just that feature for 10 years !

Also - more recent Search paths in the Search dialog - how about at least 50
