Perform an overlay.

I need something that will perform an overlay.
1) cut a line (in the example, the first line)
2) select a group (the next four lines)
3) paste

Before:
xxx<----blanks---->xxx
<-blanks-> yyy yyy
<-blanks-> zzz zzz
<-blanks-> 111 111
<-blanks-> 222 222

After:
xxx yyy yyy xxx
xxx zzz zzz xxx
xxx 111 111 xxx
xxx 222 222 xxx

This darn editor squeezed out all my blanks. So <-blanks-> is where there would have been leading blanks.
