Persistent TWS files
I would suggest an option to save a tws file so it is persistent. In other words once a tws file is created it toggled to not be altered. I inevitably end up closing it down so that when I click the tws file again it does not open all files. As a workaround I created a tws file, made it a read only, so that it can not be altered. I get a couple of error messages when closing down but can escape-escape past them. I really like the way the new interface in version 6.1 is setup!

An alternative work-around, which I sometimes use, is to close the workspace explicitly:
File | Workspace | Close
It will ask: "Do you want to save changes to the workspace?". Say No.
This is not ideal, as it requires you to remember not to close the TextPad session, and it requires you to choose No. But it doesn't require any action in advance.
