Notepad Replacement not working

OK, admittedly, I did something.

I was looking into setting up portable Textpad, which I did and it works -- except for two things:

The Notepad replacement won't close up spaces in filenames. If I have a txt file [New Document.txt], Textpad doesn't "close up the spaces", so it asks about "New" and "Document"...

If I open it with the Textpad in the right-click menu it works -- just not if I double-click it, because then it tries to use the notepad replacement link.

I uninstalled Textpad and re-installed 6.1, but that didn't fix it.

What can I do to fix this?

Try going back to 5.4.2, then upgrading to 6.1
