First post in this forum. I ask for patience in advance.
I am trying to highlight text between brackets. Specifically {table1} within a SQL .dat file.
I am familiar with formatting the .syn file and manipulating the colors, related to keywords. Just can seem to get this type of text string highlighted.
The intention is to have key items in .dat files that are long and not edited by be previously, pop out.
thank you

resolved - operator error
Resolved the program was not hindering me from highlighting anything between brackets after all. I had keyed in brackets in the properties section - syntax tab - OTHER CHARACTERS dialog box.
Once I erased text from that section. It allowed my table within brackets to highlight from the keywords list that included the word "table"
Begineer mistake but thought I would post solution in case others make the same basic mistake.
