How to recover unsaved text?

Is it possible to recover a text you didn't save and disappeared cause you closed down TextPad or the machine crashed or whatever?

Only thing I could recommend, for the future, would be to enable Auto Save.

Preferences
Backup
(2[Bb]|[^2].|.[^Bb])

That is the question.
