Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift tab do not always go through the documents in order. You can replicate this by opening multiple files and then visiting them in a random order through the Window menubar. Then try Ctrl+Tab through them and it will toggle through them in the order that you last visited them (and not the order in which they were opened as on the Document Selector Pane).
Usually I have many files open at once which I want to switch around in a manner that is conducive to their visual display - that is, either on the Document Tab Bar above the document or in the Document Selector Pane to the left of the document.
I would like to be able to push Ctrl+Tab to move to the next-lower document in the Document Selector Pane and be able to push Ctrl+Shift+Tab and move to the next-upper document in the Document Selector Pane. However currently it is not supporting this kind of deterministic behavior.
Recommend to have Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift be mapped to the order of the documents as they are presented in the Document Selector Pane. They currently correspond to the commands WindowNext and WindowPrev as defined in Preferences->Keyboard->Window. However there is no command there to do DocSelectorPaneWindowNext and DocSelectorPaneWindowPrev. This is what I recommend the default behavior of WindowNext and WindowPrev should be.
