Set default width when opening documents

I use a computer with dual monitors... When I open a document or create a new document, it opens as over 400 characters wide. Vary annoying. Any way of setting default width to something reasonable like 120 characters? Even setting default number of lines would be good also.

Are you talking about the size of the TextPad window? It opens at the same size that it was when you last closed it. If you don't maximize the window you can resize it to your preferred size.

No, not the size of TextPad window.... Rather the size of each of the documents inside the TextPad Window. Do this.. Open Textpad and spread the window across both display monitors. Open several documents, then do a "Windows"-> "Cascade". The documents will cascade as expected, but they will be REALLY wide.
