Can't open filenames containing non-English symbols
I'm using TextPad 5.4.2 in a Windows 7 system. I have an external HDD with NTFS which has some folders named using non-English symbols. When I'm trying to open text files in those folders using TextPad, it basically can't access these files. For example, let's say I have file "C:\My_notes\non-English symbols\notes.txt" and I'm trying to open it. TextPad will say: "OK to create 'C:\My_notes\??????? ????? ?????\notes.txt'" (the question marks are displayed instead of non-English symbols). Why does this happen and how can I fix this?
