Getting more use of Textpad

I've been using TextPad 5.3.1 and am about to upgrade to 5.4.2.

Thank you for making upgrades available. I also plan to learn about your add-ons and anything else you have new.

Is there any support for the new syntax and commands of Power Basic Pro or its Console Compilers?

Or if not, are there instructions how to modify an existing syntax definition to allow for proper highlighting of new structures?
