Returning My TextPad Screen Layout to the Default One

Post by jimgillespie »

Hi:

I'm using Textpad version 5.3.1. I somehow did something that got rid of the separate area on the left side of my screen that shows which files I currently have open, and all I have now on my screen is a big white area to type into. How can I get the separate area showing the files I currently have open to return on the left side as my normal setting?

Thanks.

You can display the Document Selector by clicking View > Document Selector.

You can also click View > Clip Library and View > Explorer to bring back the other panes that are normally there by default.

Thanks.

When I try those options a small, square dialog box pops up on the screen. Am I able to accomplish what I want to from one of these dialog boxes? If so, can you tell me how?

Thanks again.

I'm not sure what the small, square dialog box is. Try this procedure to reset everything to its default layout instead.
