I've been happily using Textpad for years and recently upgraded to v.5.4.2 following a move to Windows 7.
Since then, I found that the word wrap setting is not maintained between sessions. I've set it in Preferences under Default and Text Document Classes (which covers most of the things I do) but, whenver I start a new session and create a new document (or let Textpad create it automatically), I always have to hit the word-wrap button to get the text to wrap.
Does anyone else have this problem, or any suggestions about something I may have missed in the Preferences?

Does this thread help?
Thanks, ak47wong, for some reason that post didn't come up when I originally searched on 'word wrap'.
That worked fine though, unfortunately, I was impatient and did everything at once, so I'm not sure what exactly did the trick:-
Close all documents
Turn 'wrap at ...' off
Exit program
Turn 'wrap at ...' on
Exit program
Re-start - Word wrap!!
One other thing, because I only really edit text files, I did this on the Default class and checked 'Apply to all classes', in case my documents were being incorrectly identified. That may also have been a factor.
Not exactly intuitive, though, is it? I never had this problem with earlier versions.
Many thanks again for your help.
