How do I change browser views?

Post by kahill1918 »

I was shocked to see Google Chrome as the browser view and also claiming my HTML files as theirs. I don't want them, so how do I change to Firefox and IE and ensure that my files are not saved as Chrome documents? Thanks.

your system is configured to open html files in Chrome.
Change that in your system to whatever you prefer.

As you ask this in a textpad forum: in which way is your question related to Textpad?

Firefox is my default browser.

In TextPad when I save files, they are automatically saved as Chrome HTML documents. I am unable to find anywhere in the system where I can change from Chrome to Firefox.

If I want to view it in Firefox or IE, I open the document in Notepad. But I certainly don't want to have to switch back and forth between the two programs.

When you speak of the "system," I am not sure what system you mean.

I am beginning to think I may have to uninstall Chrome. Sigh.
