copy paste umlauts

Hi all,

there seems to be a bug in TP 5.4 German (win 7 x64). Can anybody please configm the following procedure:

Open a textfile safe as ansi.
Write a word which contains some umlauts ore any characters above Asci 127.

Code: Select all

;&auml; Ã¤

Watch the clipboard history.
Mark the word, copy and paste the word.

There are two entries in the clipboard history now, one with and one without umlauts. The Windows cilpboard contains the one without the umlauts. You can paste the word with umlauts out of the history, but regular copy and paste is impossible.

can't reproduce it here (neither on win 7 32bit nor on WinXP)

thanks for your tests. I upgraded to tp 5.4 on my notebook (win7 x64) and tp runs as expected. I should have a look at my desktop machine.

Hi all again,

after making a repair installation of TP on my desktop machine the copy-n-paste error was gone.

Today the error came again. I try to rapair again, but it seems - for me - to be a bug of TP.
