How do I remove a syntax file?

I have added several syntax files and they all work nicely.

I then discovered that I had a typo in one of the document classes syntax files. I would like to remove the syntax file with the typo. How do I do it?

Check in the preferences (Folders) where syntax files should be.
Go to that folder and delete it.

Or - what might be better: open it with textpad and fix the typo ...
