Hello there,
i just searched the forums but couldn't get an answer to my simple question. I need to reformat a bunch of txt files and the first step would be to delete Lines 1-345 in each as well as the last line. The lines don't have an expression to search for though. How would I go about it?
Thanks for your help!

You could record a macro to do it:
1. Click Macros > Record
2. Press Ctrl+Home to move to the start of the document
3. Click Search > Go To
4. Select Line, type 346 in the box, select Extend selection and click Go To
5. Press Delete to delete the selected lines
6. Press Ctrl+End to move to the end of the document
7. Press Up to move to the last line of text if necessary
8. Click Edit > Delete > Line
9. Click Macros > Stop Recording
You would need to open each file and run the macro in each one. Does that help?
Alternatively, someone else may be able to give instructions on how to do it in WildEdit.
