Windows 7 64bit and Textpad 5.31
I am having an installation problem. I can install fine. But when I go in to update license I get this Error "The installation is forbidden by system policy". How can I get arouund this?
run as admin
you need to run textpad as an admin to allow it to modify the registry. it doesn't request perms correctly.
Not sure if it is just my workstation but when I tried to run textpad as an admin it would crash my explorer. I ran a command console as admin and ran textpad from the install location. registered fine.
