Private messages from "forumAdmin." are a SCAM

I've received a few private messages here in the past month or so from a user named "forumAdmin" as such:

Subject: Important message from the forum administration!

Dear(s), RayAtPlace!

A virus alert was noticed on your computer.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately: http://[link deleted by me]

I think this is first that I've come across forum-based phishing, or whatever this would be called.

Is anyone else getting such messages? Just curious.

These messages are scams.

THEY ARE NOT FROM HELIOS OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH TEXTPAD. Just ingore the messages and delete them.

Do not go to the links, do not reply to the message.
