Installation wizard runs, decompresses files....then NOTHING

I uninstalled text pad because of a problem with the clipboard function. rebooted the computer, then ran the Install.exe program to re-install text pad. The install wizard runs, decompresses the files, then the window closes and Nothing happens. No installation, No errors, NOTHING! anybody got any ideas how to get my textpad back???? You could try using the Windows Cleanup utility, and then download and install a fresh copy of TextPad.

Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded the clean up utility and installed it. But when it ran, Text Pad is not found in the window as a program available for selection. Any other ideas? thanks, JRC
