hallo,
I can't register my textpad.
I right click on start>programs>textpad, run as user account and it says impossible to write the key in registry. I have not yet tried to copy paste the code
I try admin with blank for both fields (never been administrator) and it doesn't work, it says impossible to open a session
why isn't register code on first page like all softs -(
best regards
Marc

Even when logged in as Administrator on Vista, programs that you run don't automatically get administrative rights. To do that, right click the program in Explorer and choose the Run as Administrator command. If you do that with TextPad.exe, it will allow the license information to be written to the registry.

re
sorry, I understand nothing to the post.
I install softwares for 10 years, flexlm, by internet, cd, codes on first page, even trial versions and never have any problem like that
I am not expert in registry so don't intend to have a look in registry,...
either it works or I ask for pay back to textpad. I needed a tool to replace notepad.
best regards
