List of bookmarks

Post by Borntral »

I haven't found it yet and therefore it must be a missing feature. ;)

I'm using TextPad while coding TCL, VB, Java-Scripts and other languages. Usually I'm bookmarking functions, subs and procs and jumping through the bookmarks. If I had a list of all bookmarks, the work would be much easier.

And if there isn't such a view of all bookmarks, I would appreciate this feature in a future release.

Yours sincerely!

Ofcourse, but having more than 30 bookmarks per document, it starts getting painful. ;)

Edit/Copy Other/Bookmarked Lines

Post by woho »

a workaround which helped me several times when having (too) many bookmarks:

Edit/Copy Other/Bookmarked Lines
File/new (or Ctrl-N): open new file
Edit/paste (or Ctrl-V)

can be recorded with TextPad's macro recorder
assign a key shortcut to the macro: configure/preferences/keyboard

=> get a new file with all bookmarked lines with 1 (combined) key press

hope it helps

Wolfgang
