I'm getting some unusual behavior when I turn on word wrap. All of the text disappears from the screen, and the cursor sticks to the left side. If I use the right arrow key to navigate right within a line, the column number in the status bar increments, but the cursor stays to the left.
I'm using TextPad 5.2.0 (just upgraded to see if it would fix this) on Windows Vista.

Re: text disappears when in word wrap mode
I have got the same behavior with 5.3.1 under XP SP2. But just for *.txt or unsaved files. If I save as *.htm everything works as expected.mihal30 wrote:I'm getting some unusual behavior when I turn on word wrap. word wrap
Hi
I'm getting the same result, it appears to happen when syntax highlighting is on and / or the file belongs to a recognised document class
word wrap is completely unusable.
The cursor position increments but the cursor doesn't move
by the way version 5.3.1, win xp sp3
Don't know if this is an sp3 issue as I have never noticed it before

Fix
I found that this was a problem with an invalid value in the document class. I was able to fix this by going to Configure->Preferences, and highlighting the 'Text' document class. For some reason, there was an invalid value in the "Word break at column number: " field. It wants a value between 4 and 65535 but somehow it got a '1' in there. I fixed it and this fixed the word wrap/blank screen problem.
