LicenseKey Invalid Error Message

Post by Madlyn »

I recently signed up, today, and received my license key, but can't use it, keep getting error message. I've done everything suggested by the administor, going to explorer and re-setting my administor status, but still get an error message. The trial verision worked fine, so what do I do now that I've paid for the license and can't use it?

Please someone help me!

It's easier to help if you tell us the error message you see.
If you use Windows Vista try to rightclick textpad and select "run as administrator" and then add the license.

LicenseKey Invalid Error Message

The error message I receice is:
These license details are not correct. Please check your input, or contact sales@textpad.com for a valid license
I have done all that has been suggested, including uninstalling, and reinstalling the program. I have gone to explorer and set the administor as well. Nothing works. As stated previously, the program ran fine in the test mode, but since I paid for the license, it no longer works.

Did you copy the correct text to paste? It should look like this modified sample:

Your Company Name
Site License

END LICENSE

Uninstalls of programs are not always complete.

If you are comfortable working in the registry, try uninstalling Textpad, then go into registry and delete the keys and all of their sub keys for Helios.

Check registry CURRENT USER and LOCAL MACHINE /Software/Helios areas

Then reinstall TextPad, and install license.
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,

Then I suggest you forget about that idea, and see if someone else can come up with a solution for you.

There was no guarantee that would work anyway.
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,
