Change the color of found text from a search

Post by deafdog »

Greetings:

I am using TP 5.2.0 on a text file.

When I search for a string, TP finds it, but the color of the highlighted line is a faint yellow which makes it hard to see on my preferred white background.

If I next a few times searching, I know TP has found it since it stopped, but sometimes it is just not obvious enough on the screen (for me).

I would like to change the color of the line that TP lands on when doing a text search from this faint yellow to something else.

Thanks.

deafdog, search the forums for "search color" and you'll find several posts about this. Try this one for example.

That did it.

I figured it was in that section somewhere - it was the "no focus" part that I was missing. Dang.

And I did search the forum, maybe not with those exact search strings (I probably had too many words) and then 7... pages. I would always try to figure it out myself/look before posting any question, so I hope nobody thinks I am too lazy.

Now the searched text shows up easily, and if I don't like it after a while, I will change it!

Ha-ha-ha!!!

Thanks!
