Selecting Word Wrap Closes TextPad 5.2.0

Hello,

Glad to have found this forum.

I just moved to a Mac and am running TextPad 5.2.0 on a virtual machine that runs Windows XP 2002 Service Pack 2. The Mac is running OS X 10.5.5 and the virtual machine is VMWare Fusion 1.1.1.

The issue is basic and reproducible on my machine. Whenever I toggle Word Wrap (either with the icon or the keyboard combination Ctrl+Q, W) on *any* open document TextPad will quit without asking to save an open file.

If I press Ctrl+Q, W on a closed document TextPad continues to run.

I've contacted VMWare Fusion and they aren't able to reproduce this and have it as an open issue. They were very helpful in trying to resolve the problem.

Question: is there something I can do to try to resolve this issue?

Two things to add:

1. I closed all other programs running on the Mac side and all the other programs running on the virtual machine leaving only TextPad running ... the same issue continues.

2. I shut down Windows and the virtual machine and restarted the Mac. I loaded TextPad again as the only program running and the problem disappears.

Hope this helps narrow down the things I can try to resolve this.
