I've been using TextPad on and off for a couple of years and I've always had a very basic problem with it. When I double-click a file to open it, TextPad opens, but the file does not load. This also happens using any other method for opening files outside of TextPad. I have to open the file from inside TextPad. The lone exception to this seems to be with .txt files and that just started working today.
Most of my usage of TextPad involves Peoplesoft appengine trace file (.AET) and .SQR files. I have the file types associated with TextPad and have looked through the preferences, but haven't found anything that sounds like it would fix the problem. Anybody else had this issue?
