Display problem with 5.2 in Vista

Running v5.2 under Vista (latest patches etc) I'm experiencing a display problem when viewing, in text mode, files which are mostly text but have some binary in them (pure text files are OK).

- sometimes characters aren't shown properly (ie they are 'cut off')

- the cursor seems to appear in the wrong place - if I hit the enter key to force a new line the point at which the break occurs is several characters to the left of where the cursor is.

This isn't machine specific, it happens on both my desktop and laptop (which has Aero disabled).

I'd just put this down to the fact that it was a binary file after all, _except_ that previously when doing this sort of thing under XP with TP v4.x (over a prolonged period) this problem hasn't been apparent!
