New option for converting TABs to spaces

I would like to see the option to automatically convert TABs to spaces EXCEPT for leading tabs. We use TABs for indentation so that each programmer can see the amount of indentation they prefer, but TABs used in an attempt to line up, e.g. trailing comments just get garbled for programmers who have a different TAB setting than the original programmer.
