Document Selector Hightlght Color

Post by mgordon2 »

Hello Support,

I am currently editing over 100 html files and when I have severl files loaded into the Document Selector window It is almost impossible to tell which document was last selected.

When I click on a document I get a nice dark blue highlight behing the document name, however when I go to edit that open document the hightlght color changes to a color almost the same as the window background.

How can I change the Document Selector highlight color when that document is being edited to a background highlighted color I can see?

Thanks for any assistance.

The highlight colour of individual documents in the Document Selector is actually determined by a setting under the Windows display properties.

Display properties/Appearance/Advanced/Item:3D Objects

Changing this colour also effects other things such as borders and buttons, so you may not find another acceptable colour. Dark grey may be the least intrusive. Anyway, you can always experiment with it and see if you can live with an alternative to the default light grey.

Hello Support,

Thank you for your reply, your solution worked like a charm and light gray has done the trick.

Most of my applications use the Windows XP color scheme so the gray should not be a problem.

Thank you again,
