TextPad 5.2.0 FIND confused between ASCII and BIN files

I've noticed this a few times but have not exactly identified the usage that causes it.

With both ASCII and binary files opened in TextPad, performing a FIND in the binary file for string "hello", for example, might yield an error indicating that only hexadecimal digits are allowed.

Now, switching to the ASCII file and performing any search also yields the same error.

In the past I have been able to search binary files for ASCII strings and am still able to do so, but the above bug popped up today, and my only recourse was to restart TextPad.

Select the Text radio button.
