Opening multiple files from search window/folder-drag'n'drop

Post by Mastershrimp »

Hi all,

is it possible to open all files that have been found by the "find in files" search with one click? I think that would be a nice feature in order to perform search/replace actions across multiple files.

An other question regarding this topic: Why is it not possible to open all files of a folder? When I drag'n'drop a folder into the file list of textpad I got an error "access denied to {foldername}". I'm running Windows XP SP 2 as an administrator so there are definitely no limitations regarding the access to a file or folder :D

Thanks in advance

kind regards

How about two clicks? Right-click on the Search Results window and click "Open All".

omg :D

I could swear that I tried this when I was looking for this feature...that's like the first guess in windows programs...right click -> skim the context menu -> click.

Thanks!! :)

But folder drag'n'drop actually does NOT work, does it? :D
